I am not a professional photographer. I am just someone who enjoys flying a drone and seeing familiar places from a different angle.

Low Key Aerials started as somewhere to keep the photos and videos from my days out around Scotland. Instead of leaving everything buried on a hard drive, I wanted to put each flight in one place with a few notes about where I went.

I like the famous views as much as anyone, but I am often more interested in the quieter spots along the way: a glen, a stretch of coast, an old ruin or somewhere I simply happened to stop.

The name is meant literally. This is a low-key hobby, so the site will grow whenever I get the chance to fly and the Scottish weather cooperates. I always try to fly responsibly, respect the place and leave plenty of room for people and wildlife.
